What is Jute and why use Jute products?

At present, jute is termed as a favourite fabric for packaging materials and furnishings and as golden fibres for the national and international fashion world. Jute is a plant-based fibre. Jute Fabrics is 100% Environment-friendly since it requires minimum chemical treatment before weaving into the textile.

Jute is one of the strongest natural plant fibres. Jute is a long, soft, shiny plant fibre that can be spun into coarse, strong threads. It’s the second most important vegetable fibre after cotton in terms of usage, global consumption, production, and availability.

Fabrics made of jute fibres are carbon-dioxide neutral and naturally decomposable. It’s an extremely eco-friendly textile. It grows best in warm, humid climates. India, Bangladesh, and China are the main producers of jute.
